We were so blessed to be part of such a wonderful couple’s celebration.  With the Bride and Groom both being active Military, we were actually scheduled to have this event in October.  However, with a deployment in October, we picked a new beautiful day in July.  We created a wonderful menu to make sure we had could take advantage of the fresh summer ingredients!  Bacon-wrapped scallops were a crowd favorite with our Goat cheese with fresh berries coming in at a close second.  For dinner, we served a delicious pasta primavera with so many fresh veggies and my homemade fresh tomato and basil sauce.  Sarah & Jason also decided on Chicken Picatta and Grilled London Broil with a side of local fresh Grilled Veggies Roasted Garlic Smashed Potatoes.  We had to pause all of the dancing for the Slicing of the cake, which was done in true military style…..with the sword!  Awesome!  We were truly blessed to be part of this event and serve those who so silently serve all of us.  It was touching to see all those in their Military Whites, all there to celebrate with this beautiful couple.
